Caught myself doing this last night. Spent around 30 minutes reliving some of them before I got interrupted.

What else can be said but so true.

This happened last night. I was so close to finishing a book and was just getting to that point where you know you will be speed reading through it to find out what happened and my family would not stop talking. I ended up closing my book and just staring at them till they got the point and left me alone.

This happens quite often. I’ll be reading and see/hear my phone go off and be like I’ll check you in a minute but be so engrossed in my book that that minute has turned into hours and by then it’s too late to respond.

Whether you understand or not, I am still me. I’m trying to decide what kind of fantasy I want to live in right now. What fantasy are you living in?

A few years ago I did this with Morganville Vampires by: Rachel Caine. My daughter actually bought Ghost Town and after she read it and done research on it she discovered it was part of a 15 book series. It sounded so good we went on a hunt to find them all before I started the series.

Wish this was me today, instead we are celebrating our eldest daughter’s Sweet 16 today.

Been there so many times. Will probably go there many more times as well.

I really hope all these book based movies that they are coming out with don’t change the story, but I guess that’s just wishful thinking.

This currently goes for my oldest daughter. As her “Sweet 16” birthday is coming up, her friends actually have the nerve to ask her what she wants.
